release of emotion after an argument

evening's bleeding
black concussive sliding
into unheard echoes
vibrating still waters
of an untroubled psyche
imepelled the inside out
rubbing raw
the last remnants
of control manifest

we are not .

we are not .

the realms of sleep
are foresaken
too pure the need
too delicious the pain
what is percieved
cannot ever be
exactly what is concieved
by the original
mute, shreiking in perpetuum
deaf through the cacophony
sensory underload. . .
stop
desparation
stop
fractured comprehension
stop
futility
stop
exhaustion
stop
sleep?

silence

.
.
.

weeping in the stillness
to be misunderstood
to be misheard
tongue bite bleeding
disintegration is nigh
turn away
make efford to eschew
repair

hollow
haunted
emotion seeping
through miniscule pores
of the personality

the object
the personality is
not
is not
the matter
the emotion. pain. suffering.
need. fear. yearning. confusion.
demand. desparation. deprivation.
is the motive

not selfish.

not accusitory.

releasing.
needing reassurance
finding little
but what can be extracted
by force
and found wholy unfulfilling

frustration is the bane
relieve the pressure
relieve the desparation
nurture the residual
emotional repose
repair relive revive renew
rest

morning's mending
bright bars burning
into nocturnal visions
breathing gentle summer
through the troubled psyche
compelled to be out-side-out
and whole again
the last remnants
of control
manifest.

Excellent write, just excellent. A backhand to the side of the head of indifference.

wow, this runs the entire gamut of emotional response ... a powerful internal and external analization of why we should care or why we should not ...

really well written ...

this is an exceptional poem; one can feel the gamut of emotion and the development of clarity is communicated in your choice of words and images. great work, Dawn
