I went to a Sunset Salsa event in Chelsea, NYC where I danced away the night and my experience there inspired this lyric.

RAPTURE PARADISE
(August 24, 2012)

In a crowded place
With no room to breathe
You and I collide
Forget about everything

It’s just you and I
On this starry night
A passionate embrace
In this rapture paradise

I never felt like this in quite a while and I
I never felt so carefree and so alive
And I wish I could make this last forever
I wanna feel like this forever with you

Minutes tick away
But time is standing still
All I think about is now
Forget about everything

Our bodies intertwine
In a passionate embrace
In this rapture paradise
You and I have found our place

I never felt like this in quite a while and I
I never felt so carefree and so alive
And I wish I could make this last forever
I wanna feel like this forever with you

I never dreamed the night would go the way it did
I thought that I would dance alone, feel incomplete
But then you come along and sweep me off my feet
And there we are twirling along to our own beat
And everything it feels so right right from the start
It’s thanks to you that love explodes in my heart

I wanna dance, I wanna fly, I wanna soar
I want the music to caress me
And for days ahead to bless me
With the rapture that I feel
Since you and I collided tonight

I never felt like this in quite a while and I
I never felt so carefree and so alive
And I wish I could make this last forever
I wanna feel like this forever with you

This is odd because I am sure I've read this when you first posted it and I know I wrote a comment. In any case, I'm glad to read it again. Your lyrics share a special experience that appeals to the soul and the senses. Thank you, Lena. Love and best wishes,
