Love Is Blind???

LOVE IS BLIND???

I have heard it all before
From the “young” and even from the “old”
Love is blind.  Love hurts.
They claim with passion and much conviction
And sometimes with even fear and foreboding

*******
Love they say is a THING ,

that thing which leads you down paths uncharted
Road un-traveled and obstructed
Avenues that are dark and sometimes dangerous
I say how can this be
Could this perception be real?
This assumption correct?

*******

Does not love flow from the heart
A heart designed with the creator’s internal observer
The observer sees all and knows all
Seeing all that was, we call it past
All that is, the present if you will
And all that will ever be
In our delusion we call it future

*****

Love flows with a knowing
Moving with purpose and precision
Like a scalpel in the hand of a skilled surgeon
The only one able to see the very atom in each cell
Directed and protected by the creator’s all seeing and all knowing presence

*******

Some say that love hurts and wishes that it was not so
But how can one say this in the face of all the mysteries and beauty that love holds
Love is the cure not the cause
It strengthens and upholds
Not weaken and discard
It encourages and supports
Not demean and neglect
It gives and gives asking nothing in return.
Love the only real that is

Indeed love is all, Haribaldev. I do believe that "love" comes in different "modes" or "types." I can relate to much of what you express in your verses here. Thank you. Love and peace to you,

Regis
