Agony, pain, sorrow..that, cannot be forgotten..and peace? It will come about only if we have it within..how many can boast an inner peace..hmm..alas Kay not many...My heart goes out to the families and friends of the victims for they are the ones that are shattered now.
Well written,

If only aye mate!
This has a ring of Bobby Dylan about it, in the critique department, lol, you know that song, Oh heck I cant think of it but its coming to mind. ( aaaah You should do unto others as you'd have them, do unto you.... I love Bobby.
Funny how a write brings up an image or an emotion, well thats what its for, Well done, and I hope and pray as you do, NO MORE OF THIS SHIT!
RIP all those who fell.

Kay,
This is so well done.
"Don't want a world of fighting
where no one can forgive.
Why on Earth can't we see
that we have HEAVEN here?
If only we all 'LET LOVE BE' ~
then WAR .....might... disappear"

| You tribute and compassion are so needed in today's world of jaded leaders and thinkers. If only we could have a resurgence of hope and not give in to the thoughts that this is the way it has to be, because man is what he is. Man can also be noble if enough people believed that, we might be able to overcome the complacency and fight off the evil! |

Once a jolly swagman sat beside the billabong,
Under the shade of a coulibah tree,
And he sang as he sat and waited by the billabong
You'll come a waltzing matilda with me
Waltzing matilda, waltzing matilda
You'll come a waltzing matilda with me
And he sang as he sat and waited by the billabong
You'll come a waltzing matilda with me.
Lest we forget

Great Poem Kay
War is a very fearful thing and even more so when we see the mounting list of victims. I only seem to have stuck in my mind that the majority of them are young men not yet having lived but dieing ..

Kay, how well many understand the pain of this day for Australia. Nobody wants war. But one must defend themselves from the likes of terrorists. They have to be stopped. Prayers from around the globe will be with you and your countrymen on this day.
You've managed to depict the agony well in this write. Lisa |
