inspired by along walk home in the snow...enjoy

Exit
the candle light
Out
into the night

Black
versus white
the earth
against night

Stars
through the sky
On the ground
Fiery ashes lie

Bitter wind
barely there
stormy breeze
Summer air

Webs of haloed
hallowed light
Capture the sun
Carry the night

Glittered sequins
of the fiery white
shine and sparkle
distort my sight

Cold heat
soft on
my cheek
walk for hours
legs feel weak

walk on hills and
mountains
climb
the peace of nature
naturally sublime
