A Poem
By Jacqui Walker Gray

The simple sifts through clinched hands
Fists once used to commend now defend
And wail against the heads of babies
Across the faces of women
Pulling out dicks in the men’s room
With an agenda to stifle freedom
Keep crying Lord if you think he coming
Jesus, Massa Smith or the government
Trading mental health for a fat paycheck
Acquiring notes trumps life
And how well the family is fed
Pay for lies with hard earned cents
Give a little more to increase the fat index
Writings once on the wall is now the chatter on blogs
As runners prepare to submit their machines to smog
For a medal of honor to make their country proud
The same place that sent them to blow their lungs out
Eye wanna know how many wake up in the dawn
With a wish to work for so-in-so
In a cube that stands 3 x 3
Breathing germs that are spawned from manmade dis-ease
And the body is augmented to resemble a sham
Bloated breast, coated lips, thinned thighs, hair extensions
In the name of freedom of expression
When every presented lesson is a manifestation
Of a perverse subversive alien nation.
