My mom came to me in this dream, when I awakened I felt the moisture on my face...real or not...I know she visited me and she gave me rest.

ARE YOU A DREAM?  -  Linda Law

As I lay there in the night
Eyelids heavy and with dim light
Drifting into sleep that seems so hard to come these   days
Colors, memories, scenes flash back and forth  As if to say.....

Deep in slumber and indeed within a dream
Her hands touched mine, they were warm, or so it seemed
The face I love so much looked down upon mine
Smiling, caressing, knowing there isn't very much time

Kiss me, just once...before you have to go
The moisture from her lips touched my face and made it glow
It was so real, yet only make believe...or was it so?
Please kiss me......just once before you have to go....

The smile was sweet, the eyes were bright
My face is moist, the touch is soft in that dim light
Am I asleep, or in a dream....or does it only seem?
Kiss me..just once more before you have to go...

               ************************************************

NOTE:  Mom was brutally murdered a few months earlier, and all I could see in my mind was how they had left her..broken and without life.  In this dream, she was real, her touch was real, and it gave me rest...it continues to give me rest...as I can now see her whole and lovely and at peace....Like my book "Extraordinary Visits" centers on....this visit from Mom was filled with Extraordinary Love for me, her daughter.

I believe that our loved ones come to us in little ways that we must focus on to hear and feel. Your mother came, Linda...and she kissed you.

So sorry for your loss. I have flashbacks of my Tom dying to often many times especially at night. But I know his spirit is with me. I do dream of him some nights, but not lately. Have to deal with his anniversary of death next month. Still grieving as you will be too for quite a while. Glad she came to you in a dream and kind of put you at ease. We both need to have great faith that they are up their with the angels and relieved of their pain and in a better place than here on earth. Take care and sympathy goes out to you too.

I am truly sorry for the loss of someone you so loved. Whether it was real or imagined though doesn't matter for it is her spirit that will always be close by in your heart and in your memory. Perhaps that is why this write is so real...your love for her is endless like the words of the poem.
