Happy Mother's Day.

The Mother's Day star lights every path during the lonely and  dark night.

No matter how many storms roar across the sky,

the Mother's Day star defeats the clouds and rain.

I can find the Mother's Day star when I am at sea, lost in the dense woods, or if I lose my sense of direction.

If I am alone, all I have to do is look up at the sky and find the Mother's Day star,

It is a permanent ornament in the sky, a shiny coat of armor with it's silver coat, full of mystery, yet dependable.

The Mother's Day star sits quietly in the sky, and no matter how many storms pass through, the star will always return.

It is full of love, life, light and briliance.

Mom, the Mother's Day star is in the sky  especially for you.

Thanks for all that you have done for me, mom.

Most of all, thanks for being my friend.

You will always be my special star.

The Mother' s Day star will always be in the sky for you,

but in hundreds of ways, you are my shining star as you guide me home or help me find my way when I am lost.

As you knit and crochet in your favorite chair, know that you are never alone.

The Mother's Day star is beaming through the window, just for you.

It knows how much you have sacrificed, prayed, and cared for your children,

Most of all it understands your sadness, joy, and it hears the  music of your heart.

Happy Mother's Day. Thanks for loving me, no matter what. The Mother's Day star never fades.

Impressive write that I am sure will bring a smile and a tear to your Mom. It made me so think back on my own dear mother that also used to sit and knit and chrocett by the hour. I miss her stil even after twenty five years...
