There may be things that we think we need

But in reality it just may be greed

We may have things we want to do

But God may be telling us not to go through

We may have times where weakness speaks loud

But god’s word says were strong and he shows us the way

We may be righteous but that shouldn’t bring pride

Because we would be nothing without God by our side

We may get angry but it’s what we do with that

Our focus on God and we walk through in love

We may have need longing in our heart

And if we wait on God his blessing for us

Will fill our life’s and great things will come to pass

We should seek God instead of the things we most want

Because he is number one in our life

And is to be put above all
