   You Know What I Write

           You know what I write,

what I mean when I write.

           No mystical message

           to confuse those that

           read what I write.

           I write for entertainment,

           no hidden intendment

           for one to weigh

           in one’s mind.

            My thoughts are open,

            no need to search for

            deeply hidden meaning.

The pictures I draw are drawn

in words so you see what

            I see.

The pictures I draw are drawn

in words so you feel what

            I feel.

            Love is written on pages

            in black on white

            in words of scarlet desire.

            My passion easily felt,

            easily sensed and simply seen:

            as man into woman,

            as woman onto man.

            No mistaking the heat of

            my words with hidden

            meaning along with

            barely decipherable emotion.

            Writing portrays me

            as one of  straightforward

            words void of shrouded

            Never minced or disguised,

if the words are harsh with

            meanings sexually inclined,

some may blush and turn away,

            but from me to you,

            I write as I write

and you know what I write!

You are one amazing writer and I love what you write!! You are romantic, realistic, and straight forward. You step out of your shell and say whatever is on your mind... Your friend, ~Chessly

I like plain and simple work that you can understand. so many times poets and writers work is confusing and it loses something when you are not sure of what they are trying to say. In a reading room last night I was only one realizes that the poet was writing about death and not about kites flying. Some poems have two different ways of meaning. I like when a poet says what he means,.

That sounds pretty straight forward and clearly stated. At least I know I don't need to keep a dictionary within reach...(kidding)

If I knew what you gonna write about I wouldn't be reading it! (LOL)
Poets shouldn't be giving explanations, for that we have literary critics that never wrote a thing in their lives but that reserve for themselves the right to tell us how to write!
