CC, you are and will always be special to me.

The love I felt at our time was real and now,

due to absolute non-changeable circumstances,

though in a softer place,

the love is still there.

Though in a different place,

the love is still there.

Though less emotional,

in a far different way, CC,

the love is still there.

And as one still loved

I hate to see you in pain

and though the pain was expected

and though the pain was unavoidable

as one still loved,

though loved now in a far different way,

as one loved,

know, CC, that I feel your pain.

This is quite profound in its evolution of love/s deeper expression over time. Enjoyed it very much. J'nia

Feeling cannot be corralled anymore than pain. At least not for long. Good one Mark.

It means so much to old friends to know they are still loved, especially in times of need, as I'm sure this poem will mean much to CC.

Hope CC can see that love through her pain!Sometimes emotional pain glazes the eyes and we are momentarily blinded...when love is lost....Nicely done, Mark!

poor cc...classical 'i'm dumpin'you' words
one might also use the tried and untrue... "i love you...BUT...i'm not IN love with you"...hope cc is fictional and doesn't have to read this _____
