so my mom asks me
wanna be in a band?
and im like
hey
i would love to be in a band
she says ok
ill see what i can do
i sit back and smile
the question doesn't surprise me
its the faith my mom has for me
not only in my singing
but in everything i do
all my cross country meets
all my softball games
yes even when i only play one inning (hehe)
i get frustrated
and my mom is there to calm me down
she never
ever doubts my ability
i don't know where i would be
without my mommy,
i am who i am because of her
and i hope she knows
that she is loved and appreciated

Let her kiss up, Josefina. She's a good kid and she could audition for my band any day if she weren't so far. Sybil, what's your angle? I know your Mom is cool but I can't help but wonder if you put a scratch in the fender or something. Just kidding, young lady! Fantastic tribute to your mom.
