My friend claims we Americans need someone to rally against in order
to become a united nation.
What will it take to become a united world?
He thinks it will take a virtual alien invasion, for what else can we all commonly join against, if not one another?

two dreams :
I dreamt there was an alien invasion
ships swarming into our atmosphere
humanity being hit by a stun-gun.
unable to act aggressively, but only stare in awed disbelief and catatonic fear.
the aliens imparted this message:
"We can take over your communications systems at any time we wish;
we are far far more advanced than you.
We have not done so because up to this point in history you have not crossed us:
While you may destroy one another, you will not be aloud to blow up your planet because then you will be destroying our worlds, both visible and not.
We are watching you.

This dream actually followed another in which I had been accosted by several beings, two who looked as if they had been chisled out of marble by someone portraying greek Gods. The last being less perfect, with a pock-mark, or perhaps moon-pocked face. He was not unnatractive, only roughly designed, it seemed. In this dream I fainted in his arms and felt as if I were being revived by a most powerful lover. In the dream he snipped a piece of my skin off with flat, unhurting scissors, saying this:
"I am taking a sample of your energy body so that we may study the construction of the material world in order to fashion bodies in which to visit your world, should the need arise. I will not harm you. I want to help."

fascinating and disturbing on so many levels! You have such a great mind! I woke up with a bizarre scar on my wrist this morning, and all day i kept wondering how it got there. I hate to think of the otherworldly possibilities ! :)

Hmmm. Are you sure that was a dream?
