A song about how it's better to be insane than boring.

Ragged plates
of ion blue,
prismatic fractures
bleeding light,
chords of whimsey
in my mind,
brighten shadows
of the night

Wings expand
dreams unfurl
My secret self
wears alien eyes
I face a world
that's mine alone
and toss my heart
into the sky

I'm a free spirit
goin' my own way--
reality's overrated
don't ask me to stay--

I've no use for
shades of gray
or uninspired
consensus
They don't go with
my draperies
I'd rather burn
than mend my fences

I'm a free spirit
goin' my own way--
reality's overrated
don't ask me to stay--
don't ask me to stay--

You're right! Reality is over rated. That's why so many choose not to remain there. Good write Lee. Lisa
