I want to be a writer but writings dont pay the bills

So I got to do something smarter like pharmacy or something that has to do with pills

I'll have to go to college for 4-6 years and dedicate all my time to science or gain some other skills

My pen name is Poet but my first name is what makes the sales

If someone granted me a chance I would take it

Cause these writings are my passion, my life and my dream

My feelings that I write I cannot fake them

It's like the only things that are on my team is this pen and pad

It makes me sad to think this cannot be my career

But I dont want to struggle so it remains a hobby/just another skill

You better believe that when I get a chance I write my thoughts
