About a female who wants to be everyone else but herself. Check it out.
She lives what she sees
Cause it's appealing, but no one sees the pain this girl is enduring
She continues to be the one fooling others and her brothers cant contain her
They tried to talk to her, but she walks away from 'em
And her mind set hasn't been the same since back in the day
Fake nails and fake hair..2 years ago this wasn't her style
But she still wakes up, looks in the mirror and is able to develop a smile
But the style she choose doesn't belong to her
Music videos and club scenes did this to her
She even gave up her school dreams
And no one can begin to understand the change in this girl thats happening
She would rather live this life then to choose to do right

|So true, so true that the illusion of television has become the influence of our young world due to most of the time not having a strong foundation to have a strong sense of self. This poem rings truth to the highest. Beware, not everyone can handle the blunt truth.
