Roses are Red Stupid

By Jim Stewart c 2001

In my lif's time I have made a few observations

Men and women are different.

In more ways than one.

Men are basically ignorant of their surroudings

Yet, They are easily pleased.

While women on the other hand

Confuse even me.

Why don't you bring me flowers anymore?

So I thought it would be a nice jesture.

I left work a little early just tyo pick them flowers up.

There were red ones, white ones, blue ones and yellow ones.

Then there were different kinds.

Roses, carnations, daisies, pansies, birds of paradise and on

I spent my entire life in the flower shop.

Then the clerck asked me,

Do you want them in an arrangement or by themselves?

So I ponder another hard question and make up my mind.

Then I am asked if I want them delivered?

So I make another decision

Then the clecrk said, "Pick out a card."

So I go home and  wait for the love of my life to come home.

I even take a bath and put on some calogne.

She walks in  and says, "You didn't have to do that."

"You really shouldn't have."

"What did you do wrong anyway?"

Next time, I'll just buy her a dog.
