Laying it all on the line.

Thanks for Listening

As I sit here under these lights

Telling you my truthful lies

While laying my life on the line.

Ever hoping but never knowing

Of where I am going to be.

Telling stories of beauty

And stories of youth

And stories of wanting to be.

The words that I am saying

Are the words that I am feeling

They have all meant something to me.

And I hope that you know it

That there is no place

That I would rather be.
