Sometimes reality hits us in the face and we still do not see it.

Ring Around Rosie
By Jim Stewart c 1982

It's hard to play ring around rosie

When two people won't even hold hands.

There is no I between the two of us

And a circle doesn't have two ends.

 

It's hard to live in a house divided

When the house just isn't a home

And what good are four seasons

Without winter, spring and fall?

 

Many mansions have been built

And empty spaces have no walls

You can't remember about tomorrow

When yesterday hasn't even gone.
