If we only open our eyes we can see how beautiful life can be.

Living Life Today
by Jim Stewart c 2008

My Buddy and me
Sailed out to sea.
To see what we could see.
I never knew
How peaceful that could be.

And after all these years of living
I am living life today
And enjoying it more
Each and everyday

My Baby and me
Held each other tight
Underneath the dark starlit sky.
I never knew
How loving that could be.

But after all these years of living
I am living Life today
And loving it more
Each and everyday.

I went walking
Down by the river
Just pitching rocks and kicking sand
I never knew
How much fun that could be

And after all these years of living
I am living Life today
And appreciating it more
Each and everyday.

Nicely written. I agree with you, and try my best to live every second as if it were my last. Life is much toooo short!

Sounds like the sea took your troubles away and you are more relaxed and living it up now. Great passion in this poem too. It is very sentimental to me as I like anything to do with the sea. My problems ease up when I see the sea or go near it. Letting us know it helps to see we can seek freedom by the sea. Thanks for this superb write.

Jim,

This is a wonderful song of life that is quite entertaining.

Thanks, ~Donna.

A wonderful writing of living. Existing is not bad either, just different.

Some people exist and others live. You live and that's glorious. There's so much beauty to be seen and experience.
