A note to friends

My dear friends,

You each have a richness that many others need.
It is far greater than precious metal or stone.
Never hidden away in lonely selfish greed.
Without such value life is a solemn silent moan.

It cannot be begged, borrowed, bought or thieved.
Yet brings sunshine and cheer in rich greeting style.
Within your hearts is your richness perceived.
Your greatest gift to share is your valued smile.

Here's smiling at you, kid!

Merry Christmas,
Jim
