Reflections

Reflections on the lake
Or on the river
Or in the mirror
Upside down, backwards

Alice in Wonderland world
Kissing cousins, double the fun
Beauty magnified by two
But which is real?

Touch the water
Distorted image
Ripples outward
Like soundwaves

Gentle
Hypnotic
Mystical
Dreamlike

Touch the mirror
See ten fingers
And two hands
Where there was one

Reflections
Upside down, backwards
Nature's mystery
Nature's gift

Hi Donelle
Isn't it great how one little word can open up a large window. A lovely poem. Cheers! Liz

Very nice poem, Donelle. It's a different kind of reflections than I was expecting. I think this is one of your best.
