SOMETHING I WANTED TO TELL YOU RENEE

I LOST MY FRIEND TODAY, THAT IS WHAT SHE SAID TO ME.

YOU CAN SEE THE PAIN IN HER EYES AS SHE HELD BACK HER TEARS.

WHEN SHE SAID THOSE WORDS I THOUGHT OF YOU.

MY FRIEND WHOM I TAKE FOR GRANTED, KNOWING YOU WILL BE HERE TOMARROW.

MY FRIEND WHO CRIED WHEN I CRIED, WHO STUCK BY ME WHEN I NEEDED

THAT GLUE TO STICK. WE ALL THINK WE HAVE TOMARROW IS THAT NOT TRUE?

MY FRIEND WHO LAUGH WHEN I LAUGH AT SOMETHING SO SMALL WHEN WE

WOULD JUST BE STROLLING THREW THE MALL. WE THOUGHT WE HAD IT ALL. THOSE

WORDS  RING IN MY HEAD TONIGHT WHAT SHE SAID TO ME,

I LOST MY FRIEND TODAY, THAT IS WHAT SHE SAID. THOSE WORDS STUCK IN MY HEAD

I BEGIN TO REMEMBER MY FRIEND WAS THERE WITH ME THREW IT ALL

SHE WAS THERE WHEN I FELL, SHE WAS THERE TO TELL ME WE ALL FALL

I RECALL WHEN SHE GAVE ME HER HAND AND SAID I AM HERE TO HELP YOU STAND.

SO WHEN I LOOKED INTO MY BOSSES EYES I KNEW SHE HAD THAT KIND OF A FRIEND

I WANTED TO TELL HER THIS IS NOT THE END, SHE DID NOT LOSE A FRIEND . WHEN SHE

LAUGH, CRY, AND THINK SHE IS GOING TO FALL, SHE CAN MAKE THAT CALL DAY OR

NIGHT HER FRIEND WILL BE THERE TO HELP HER FIGHT. GOD HAD TAKEN HER SOUL

HOME TO REST. SHE WANTS YOU TO KNOW YOU ARE THE BEST, BUT FOR NOW SHE MUST

REST. AND YOU TWO ARE FRIENDS AND THERE IS NO END.

WENDY JENNINGS

GOD BLESS RENEE.

Wendy,
This brought me to tears, I have recently lost a friend who is still here. This is a painful experience as I have lost a friend who's spirit I've always held in a special place in within.
Thank you for sharing, you put the words to my feelings. Warmth and Love to you.
