How keen are our sensors?

Pondering Antennae

Adjusting our antennae
what length will the waves of continuum require?

Will smiles ever again evade
our angered overload and distortion
our tears that slowly dissolve connections?

Can this new means
this universal transmission
merge emotions with
intellectual spark
avoid destruction by fire
allow flame to alight candles of hope
not infernal machines of hate?

Will the mountain stream
continue to carry the simplicity of
leaf-sail atop bark-boats of innocence
floating child-like imagination
into man's unquenchable ocean of mind?

Will orbiting satellites
someday conjoin arcing auras of Nature?

And when?

When can be a long time
for Ones and Zeros aspiring
to know
to think
to be of Man's nature

Can such digits ever tell us
how near the Singularity truly is
that point where all parallel lines meet
the point where a measured variable
reaches immeasurable or infinite value
that moment beyond which technological progress
will become incomprehensively rapid and complicated?

And if such movement be resolved
does man's moral compass
risk annihilation?

Life's antennae continues adjusting
but what direction?

Antennae indeed, I still remember a tiny black and white tv with three channels and two antennae. Or are wireless moral compass, what's acceptable today and tomorrow not. I think some or more empathetic than others , not sympathetic, really truly empathetic.

Ultimately profound. Some have questioned whether silicone or gallium lifeforms will take over our primitive carbon forms. That is the ultimate question, and yet unanswered. Thanks for reminding me. Good fodder for a short story.

mindbending poetry, life changing thoughts, heartfelt words, spell out to me, live in the moment and don't worry about tomorrow, enjoy life as it comes our way.

Peace, love and light,

I like this title and the vibrating feeling of adjustment and attunement. Would I want to live in a world where all parallel lines converge? I don't know. I sometimes enjoy the cacophony of our colorful world.
