Also written during my time in the canyons of Sanderson, TX. The wild always is such an inspiration to me. I love trying to make others feel the beauty of such places through my words. I want you, for just a moment, to be transported into the reality of such an emotional and ancient place of stone. |

Freedom's Call In Innocence
Darkness ascends,
beauty arises,
there above the canyon
wild beings call...
falling through the stars,
jetting through life,
they are free from restraint,
free from danger
and knowing too much...
too little,
innocence reaches...
Teaches of knowing...
knowing life's beauty,
and of never forgetting.
There, just there,
beyond the grass tumbled canyon,
there they screech their wild freedom.
Listen,
you can hear the shrill calls,
to be one with the freedom,
to remember the innocence,
to soar as a being lacking nothing...
through dense air, fog, cloud, sky...
over the canyon-
Look-
Hear...
They...
are over there.

When I read your verses it is like you are writing on the walls of my soul, Eden. Oh. And what a beautiful name you hold. I so feel what you write and that's not easy to do. Thank you for sharing your gift/s. Love, peace, and my very best wishes for you,
