The sky that day was amazing. A creased swath, a ribbon or band of light set itself up to divide dark clouds above and below in a wondrous spectacle. Fortunately, someone took a picture. This is a haiku representation of that moment in time, along with a haiku representation of the musical moment it orchestrated in my heart.


I.

jagged cut cloud line swath
darkness fringes white center
light rays rain to earth

 

II.

moving molecules
form an air band wrapped in white
raining shafts of light

When I see the sky, the trees (my personal fav) I am in awe of God and His beauty. Lovely poem Roger.

Beautiful! I love the image....makes me want to look closer at the sky!! The glory of the elements is so difficult to capture. You did really well in this! Thank you, Roger. :-)
