Sister-Sister

We all find ourselves distant, backing away with a lot of restraint.
Cutting ties from those around us that love us the most.
Family.

SISTER-SISTER

Sister my Sister

How have you been?

Lost in the midst

Where to begin

I guess we can start

With what's blue to you?

Sister my Sister

What's different, What's new

Something unfamiliar

and

Something so true

I feel your spirit it seems renewed

Cleansed of all the spirits

that

Once brought you down

Cleansed of all the things

that

Kept you from around

Out of sight

and

Away  from the people in your life,

You should never hide from

The ones God sent for comfort

So You'll always feel safe

You know family

The family that some people wish

And

Hope for

The family that some people

still

Search for

Sister my Sister

It's OK to feel lost sometime

Leaving some questions undefined

Cancel the subscriptions of those

You feel need to disappear

But keep close the ones you need to

Hold dear

And in the middle of maddest

All will seem clear

That we are different,yes

But in truth one in the same

Aside from the blood

Running within our veins

Aside from the differences

In our pain

Lost in the desert

I can be rain

I am the surface

To help you regain

I can be time

When none is left

With the strongest of presence

I hope that it's felt

When you feel weak

Consider me strength

Forceful like light

To help see you through

Even in darkness

I still see you

Crystal clear and with the

Brightest of shines

Always keep this in the center

Of your mind

Never jaded

Nothing but unconditional

Coming from me

All is real

I know you see

Next time life is running bad

REMEMBER ME*

//

Sister

my

Sister

See!
