I submitted this to Poetry.com, and they said it was copyrighted under my name. Today, I found out that Poetry.com was not all it's cracked up to be, so I hope it's OK to resubmit it to AD.
Maggie, who is going to be 3 in October 2008, is our grand-daughter.

Little Maggie With Reddish-Yellow Hair

Some say her hair is “orange.”
Well, try to rhyme that color!
It can’t be done, it is no fun
Even for Winston Fuller.
Perhaps, in some far distant clime,
where “j” is used for pluralj,
And dogj and catj run rampant
in the streetj at intramuralj,
And then, O then, we’d happily say,
“Her hair is orange, and
The farmers’ barnj,
Are full of hay-balej plural.”
