I went to the river of my Neon Moon
Hoping you would show up, sometime soon
I look for the moon: it is not there
Please Daddy, show yourself
I need you Daddy, come to me now
I walk along the rivers edge
I long for you daddy
I need you so much
You see Daddy, I'm in love
And your not around to give me your blessing
I weep and my tears flow down this river
I knew the river is where i belonged-
You love so much
Suddenly the moon was full
Skies were clear
I was in the limelight of this dark night
I will always love you
Please don't you cry
I'll never leave you alone
My daddy said to me
I'll watch over you until
I bring you home with me
Take comfort with the river
For there is where you shall find me
Your daddy will be there
Everything we will share

TRUE STORY: THANKS DADDY
MY NEON MOON HAS ALWAYS BEEN THE MOON LIGHT THAT SHINES OVER THE RIVER AT NIGHT.

Thanks Richard Thibodeaux. I want everyone else to know that you are my Daddy too, for the past 23 years now. You were on my mind, as I wrote this. I thank Jesus you are still here for us and along-side our mom. My Daddy's moon will forever be there, but so will my other Daddy's sunshine. (STEP-DADS NEVER GET ENOUGH CREDIT) I love you Daddy!! Don't forget that. KAY MOTT REEL (AUTHOR)
