A poem for how many think of the deaths of innocents

However will you cry
when young and innocent they die.
however will you love
when young and innocent are sent above.
however will you heal
when young and innocent pain they feel.
however will you try
when young and innocent they fly.
however could it be
the young and innocent cross the sea.
however could it be
the young and innocent from pain they flee.
however could it be
the young and innocent have the key.
however could it wait
to take our young and innocent to the gate.
however could it wait
to take our young and innocent this late.
however we all know
the young and innocent they will glow.
however we all know
where the young and innocent shall go.
here we sit, sitting straightly
young and innocent we hold greatly.
here we sit, sitting straightly
on our thoughts we've sought lately.
gathered here round the oak
for the young and innocent we spoke.
However will you cry
when young and innocent they die.
however will you love
when young and innocent are sent above.
