Yes, there is a word in this that could be naughty, had it been used in a different context. It is used in the correct form in this poem, kudos and enjoy!

Final Hope

You let them kill your dreams,
Decided they knew what you needed,
Poisoned with their past
Making them believe they’re your future.
And in your heart

You have second doubts.
You could go back and
Conceal your life
In their shell

All your dreams
Become mere bastard children
Whose names no one call
And the hands of the night
Give you the only comfort
That you have been looking for

Now, you look out the window
Their grip bars on your window
Searching for what you will never find
Stiffen your lip
Close your mind

Play the part of the script you’ve been given.
Act 1
Your dreams end and theirs begin
It’s a common feeling
You’ll learn to enjoy

Nothing matters anymore cause
You’ll never be happy but-
Their dreams will always come true

The future as it will be and seem to me that is what we are coming to now. Hope to have peace eventually, but doubtful?
