*Longing for You* *By Kathy Lynn* *Thoughts of you enter my dreams* *As the mist swirls in the night fog* *Filling my heart with longing* *Wishing you would share my love* *Memories of moments spent* *In your loving embrace* *Your touch, your smile* *My soul cannot erase* *Eyes of sapphire glistening* *Pulling me in closer as I sigh* *Tenderness of your smile* *Was our love just a lie* *Longings for what was before* *Feelings deep within my soul* *I cry out with my heart to you* *“Please do not go.”* *Unrequited love brings sadness* *Into a former lover’s eyes* *As I go on loving you quietly* *For the rest of my life*
