Spring in the Sub-Tropics
Joyce McDonald Hoskins
I’ve heard people say they didn’t like Florida because the seasons don’t change. Well, I’m here to tell you, they do. And spring is the best season of all. Every morning I’m out in my gardens. It’s hard to come into the house. We are blessed with plants that bloom all year round, but the ones that bloom only in the spring are special, too. The beauty of the colors, the many shades of green, takes my breath away. The birds singing, feeding, and splashing in the water is my favorite part of the day. Soon I will hear the hum of air conditioning on the Treasure Coast, but for now, it’s the outdoors for me.

Thanks for the enlightment Joyce. I haven't been to Florida yet, but I plan to visit next year, instead of going to the Caribbean. It seems you have inspiration all around you all year long. Sometimes, in the dead of winter here in Canada, it's difficult to find inspiration.
Hugs,
