Dedicated to Cynthia, Venus, And Romel

An old school rap:

Three people moved into an empty apartment.

A mother, her two children, found a babysitter,

and thought they would be quite content.

They didn't have any furniture to bring into their tenement.

Temporarily, they used a blow-up bed

as a mattress with a sheet, pillow, and a spread.

Then a few pieces of furniture arrived,

how they survived and surely thrived.

The apartment became lovelier day by day

with items all around anyway.

The mother did pray,

work, feed her children and watch them play.

One day something happened at the babysitter's house.

The mother was phone at work by a trickster or a city service louse.
