The heart sees through the blindest of eyes.

Arise to love

Evasive love beyond grasping
A secret hidden behind inch thick steel
Where can this lead me but to the longest of nights..?

I feel that faintest glimmer fade and entomb my sleepless eyes in pitch.
Safety in numbers is pretended alone. - I am..
Alone, asleep.. blind.

A vision of truth brings mercy to darkness
But truth is not for the weak, or afraid.
Like razors edge - the deepest of wounds leaves me numb.

Silence isn't peace..but pain
A yearn to shout - stifled..muted.
A muzzle encasing my kernel of being.

The heart's sweet music brings a note of hope..
Soft...and distant.
Listen fast! - for hope fades with anguish in tail

The call to dark holds no hope for light
The joy of love knows not the twilit hour of blindest ambition.
Seek not for hope - but hope for seeking.

Passionately beats the drum of life in presence of hearts desire.
A vision unseen beyond the veil of lifes shadow
Hearts joy tears a rift - unmendable.

A light in darkness is sorrows anguish.
The heart sees through the blindest of eyes,
The light; beyond what faintest hope may bright.

Luminous despite the depth of dark
Sunrise advances on the horizon.. ignoring twilit pleading.
Found is the reason for pain.. the joy of contrast.

Asleep we can't but dream for loves arrival
Blind we can't but hope for sight
Awake we see hope for truth, and love for reality.

Awake! Arise! Breathe in lifes sweet scent.
Love knows not the restraint of time
But impatient is the heart to sing!

This has such a great classical feel to it, and i like the form you used as it made it easier to read-so much here to relate to, so much truth about love.
