life
is more than breathing, more than being
those who are alive
and not living are dead in their souls
there is no purpose
for the inhalation of oxygen
or the food they intake

life
is a state of mind
for the living
an essence that fills you
with an eternal hunger
for more than this physical world can give
it is a spiritual plane
on which kindred souls can fly
to meet and exchange their views of life

the life that is lived is fulfilling its destiny
that which is not is denying its path
traveling alone to a world
that is desolate and incomplete
without joy or sorrow
without sun or rain
aimlessly searching for the truth it is missing

life
is a journey
to be enjoyed and well-traveled
with those of a same mind and purpose
follow me on this quest of enlightenment
to life for the living who are truly alive…

Insightful words and very well written.
