Michael Jackson, a man with a child's heart.

I guess Michael is the man in the moon now, scoot

over Elvis. There is room for all of us who keep their

child wonder alive. I am one, myself, if you've read me. You have been introduced to my child within.

Michael Jackson lived with a child's heart. Listen to his song!

Sometimes there comes along artists like Michael and Elvis, and many more, too many to list. They come to us with a child's heart and they burn out way too fast. Their talents take so much energy

and passion out of them, they forget to leave room for their personal lives. They live to create art and feel as though they are nothing when they are not creating art. They turn to booze, drugs and

and live sexual deviate lives. They gave their souls to us in their work. Kind of like selling their souls to the devil for their art.

I wish we could turn the pages back for Michael. Back to when he was singing "With a Child's Heart." But we can't. Even though he knew he was a singer, dancer at heart, he just didn't get how beautiful

he was as a black boy growing up in America. He never saw himself in the mirror. I imagine hehad no mirrors until he was older and then it was too late. He could not quit looking for that

young special boy he was in the above video. Soul Train brought us many black artists. Michael

was the first to make us feel that he was walking on water.  You just got to watch Billy Jean. I was too young to really appreciate him at his best. Now I watch with awe. We all are wondering

I imagine, where that wonderful young man got off tracK. So many of our artists burn out way before they are discovered. Michael, Farrah and EdMcMan, are three stars that I grew up with.

Michael was 50, Farrah 62, and EdMcMahon ? but he was older than me. My prayers go out to their families and to their kids. They've got unbelievably big "shoes" to fill.

I think.

His first Billy Jean was the coolest, dance. We all have tried the Moon Walk,

who of us can say so much with our body. I even noticed Michael copped Elvis'

left leg movement, shaking it while singing. I remember Elvis was thought a deviat,

too sexual for us girls. When I was younger I thought Michael was disgusting.

Now, at 62 I thought he was marvelous. So talented. So fully aware of his body, it's every move. How I'd like to be able to express my every emotion with a twitch or two of the leg, the groin, a hat or a glove.  You know God measures us all by the biggest of our "Heart", not our wallets.  Did you know U-tube took Billy Jean

off due to infringement rights already? There will be

a lot of fighting over his children, their take or not.

I saw his little girl, maybe 10 or so. My heart went out

to her, hoping she was emotionally or physically abused. If there is a God, I pray to help his kids forgive and forget their pain, and appreciate his artistry.  They have a heavy bourden to bear.

Enjoyed this insightful article. In many ways though, Michael Jackson never got "off track" at all. As he continued working throughout his adulthood, he often labored solely to benefit others, contributing the entire share of his concert earnings to a specific community or charity. If he had the heart of a child, he definitely had the strong soul, work ethic, and giving spirit of a man to go along with it :-)

I am told all of the time that I "never grew up." So I can relate. Thank you, Joyce. Love and best wishes,
