|cute Sherry. I was watching the discovery channel. The zebras were trying to cross the river and the big alligators were waiting to eat them. The gators couldn't get the big zebras but the little ones, well I guess you know the rest of the story. G|

|Some thing to think about, Sherry. It is true that animals are more tolerant than many humans. May be it will ahve no difficulty as humans may have.
Nice poem and beautiful pic and info.
Love from India - Joel -

|Alex the ZebKey may actually be the Key to one of the likenesses of true love: Just as is.
And in this case, he is just absolutely gorgeous! :0)

|Oh, you may call me a slut
Or a loose woman, but
would you ever pass
on a great piece of ass
From a donkey who really can rut.

|This is how it should be! Just love this... and as for Little Wonky Zonkey: no worries!! He's bound to be such a character that fighting off the attentions of suitors from many other breeds and species is more likely to be the problem - such charisma is a powerful pheromone!! My daily life is so enhanced by the antics of the "gay" couple in the field outside my kitchen window; (yes, you can tell a lot of dishes get smashed and food burned as my concentration wanders!! :) ) Such a smart and larger than life, handsome donkey together with a rather odd "pantomime"-looking pony - but truly I have never known such hysterical animal behaviour: they are a riot!! We have so much to learn about ourselves as we see nature living life to the full all around us! Feel good factor is here, Sherry! TY for this marvellous celebration in Doolittle style! Kate xx|

|Like Ron, I say, this is so cool, both the poem and the zonkey. I love the way you told the story and the message you wove in for us humans. :-) ~~Nordette|

|In doing some reading, I have found that the actual name for this X-Breed is Zonkey...I had no idea that zebras mated with donkeys and not sure if I had heard of a Zorse either which is a zebra/horse-X. Love happens to even the most unlikely couples... ;~)|

|this is so true for humans too, when people mix, they aren't always accepted, which is a sad commentary on people, the animals will probably work it out better than we do|

|Don't sweat it, Sherry, when the time comes and the she-zebra and the she-donkey see what the zebkey has to offer, they'll be cat-fighting over it.|
