I understand too Sherry that life is a blessing and I should be thankful that I can at least enjoy the beauty of the day, even when it snows. But there are those times that I feel that what's the use. Everytime I turn around someone in my "family" is cursing my birth. This is such a beautifully painted landscape, and should be in Louvre for all to enjoy, that is how I see the majestic purple mountains, the geese and the clouds, the sun rising, and your kitty "Magic" having his breakfast. This could be considered a story poem, or a free verse. But whatever we call it, it is beautiful. Thnx for sharing sis. May the Lord Jesus bless you, and those whom you love, and be with you always, and at your side constantly. With much love in my heart, stubborn and determined to a fault, joy to the world, peace on earth, & ((((((((((MANY WONDERFUL SISTERLY HUGGGGSSSS)))))))))), your still very sad and terrified little sister, Barbie
"If I have to be this girl in me, Then I may as well be." |

Wonderful! Certainly could be classified as a poem! Great presentation as well.. Wonder though if in future writing you could get away from the cliché.. Such as "V-shaped patterns" Might better have been described as:
A chevron of geese or a wedge of geese..
Keep up the journaling! |

| Not really a poem?? Are you KIDDING me?? This is absolutely the purist form of poetry I know, flowing straight from the heart and mind that conceived it and unadulterated onto the page in it's purest essence. And what a picture you give us! Thanksgiving indeed - and what to be thankful for! Love the acknowledgement that the moment has been created for you and you alone... that really moves me too, when I am blessed enough to encounter such times - few and far between in my experience as I don't tend to roam outdoors in solitude too early or too late... much to my chagrin; I really should make time for it - must put the rest of life into a different perspective. These are times of truly feeling a deep oneness with creation that reaches right into the core of our being and centres us, too. Marvellous work, Sherry. Thank you. LOL Kate xx |
