I wrote this for all the women who battle with breast cancer or for anyone who is facing a life threatening/altering disease.

 Life Rythms

Life continues, taking on its destined motion

Unexpected changes redefine our flexibility

In the blink of an eye, all we were becomes something new

Our gains and our losses no longer tallied

Yet the tomorrow, as though it were unaware

Of our sadness or our elation

Will call upon the sun to rise at the appointed hour

And so to set quietly upon the mesa

The rain will surely fall, embrace it

And the drought will parch the land

The bud of each glorious rose

Will offer its petals to enrich the earth

It is as though through change

We imbed deeper into the fabric of this lifetime

And the glory of who we are and what we have become

Creates the new rhythms of the day

Ride high and mighty upon the wind

Saturate your soul with colors of rainbows

Breathe in the splendor of all that surrounds you

And celebrate that your presence here has changed everything

Masterfully written with and eye for detail. We all hope that someday we will make a difference in the world, and leave it a better place than when we were born into it. I love th eimage of the rose opening its petals to a new day. I rate this a 10 out of 10 sis, and thank you so much for sharing.

May the Lord Jesus bless you, and those whom you love and who love you, and be with you always, and at your side constantly. With much love in my heart, joy to the world, peace on earth & ((((((((((MANY WONDERFUL SISTERLY HUGGGGSSSS)))))))))), your little sister, Barbie

An interesting poem. A lot of thought and depth to this poem as we contemplate our life rhythms in relation to nature, weather, seasons, and the ever movement of time.
