Bone weary

Chilling march of time

Blue skies fail to cheer

Time to find some daffodils

Happy dance of sun-bright gold

Lighten heart and soul

Swallow hard that which can't be changed

Quest for harmony guides true

Inner peace blooms in rainbow hues

Realm of light abides...

For what we cannot change that is not in our control we wisely let go. Knowing inner peace is stronger.

The winter can be long. I find your words symbolic and meaningful. Also, I love the manner in which you close on a positive and hopeful note. Thank you, Carolyn. Love and best wishes,

Lighten heart and soul

It's truly time, indeed. My resident robins arrived in my backyard yesterday - a true sign of Spring - and they truly lightened my heart and soul.
