We read the beatitudes in church yesterday. This one stood out to me this morning.

Blessed are the peacemakers

They are able to give kindness

instead of judgement

They are able to calm

the fire instead of adding fuel

They have the wisdom

to see solutions instead

of  wanting to be right

They reach out a hand

instead of hitting

They are able to give peace

intstead of hate

Yes, blessed are the peacemakers
