Long time ago: This actually combines a visit to a psychiatrist for sleep meds, and a speculation by an alternative health practitioner working backwards from the characteristics of bp 2: creativity, intellect, insomnia - all in the off-chart range, or so it is purported. Ambien causes memory loss, weight loss, and severe paranoia, the latter of which is addressed here. A bizarre experience - lots of lbs. later, and frightened, I ditched it - after hiding behind a couch, too afraid to go into my followup appointment, but which I finally managed, just in order to say "uh, no thank you." |

I hide behind my hair
like a paranoiac behind a chair
like a pedophile behind a grin
like a politician behind a spin
like priest behind a sin,
like a drunk with stashed gin
like a chin beneath a chin
like Re - Li - Gion
like a twin behind a twin
lousy lyrics 'neath a din
like a fat inside a thin
like a yang really yin
a snake unshed of skin
a blowless violin
I'm no Elvis, just his hips
nor a Jagger, just the lips
bipolar 1 neatly nipped
a brand new yacht.
what a gyp.

| Julie, there are many complex issues at play here. Throughout it all I am quite pleased to know that your will was victorious. For in the final analysis that is the only weapon, the only ally to be relied upon. Battles such as this often consume and never release. May your life be filled with joy, love and peace my friend.Jon Michael |

| You're really dishing out some new and peculiar styles now. Very intriguing. I don't trust the medical establishment at all anymore. Everything is poison. Vaccines, GMO foods, medications. All designed to make you more sick, more docile, destroy IQ, etc. They want compliant automatons. They don't want a healthy, vibrant citizenry. It's not in "their" interests, you see? I like this too, by the way. Dare to be different. |

A powerfully meaningful write; honest and raw. I think the similes are very effective. I do not claim to understand it all. Love and peace to you,
