My parents, being from a traditional italian family, skipped the sixties and seventies, well they didn't technically, but they already had responsibilities by then... my brothers were born, they had a family. Woodstock came and they referred to free love and loud music as a thing the zingari do. They've never heard of Janis Joplin, Joni Mitchell, Jimi Hendrix, The Doors, they didn't understand The Beatles... music was an enigma & sex was taboo. Who knew I'd turn out the complete opposite. I'm almost 27, no children, comfortable with my "rawr" side, having to take prescription drugs to STOP me from NATURALLY tripping out (I have bipolar disorder) and blasting "Kozmic Blues" with flowers in my hair. By their definition, I do as the hippies or gypsies do. How wonderful... I wouldn't have it any other way.
