Caught in feelings of remorse

It’s this little moment when I think to much,

How can something I thought was so small

Pull me out of touch to where I just stare

Like my time just ran into a wall.

I am wrapped in now and here I am.

Just the way I am supposed to be.

I will still feel you here

Until the moment I am gone.

The way you touch my face

Without saying a word

I feel your intention my heart says yes

And with no reason, the look we share says no.

It never takes very long

You hold me with the memory of your touch.

No matter how you feel, no matter what you say

You have kept me in close to you,

I still hold you in my mind, I can’t leave you

I hold moments like the earth holds rain

Like a fading flower at seasons end

I hold closest the things I can’t contain.

A moment to watch it go

I simply never look to see

The end feels so far away

Is where we are supposed to be?

Where else can I go?

To be left behind

No one else will do

Capture me with cause of source

To take hold of you

Where else can I go?

My life rolls without a course

My thoughts go back to you.

A place where I stare at time passed by

To miss you again my heart can’t pull the weight

Just leave me, to here I am

The way it was always meant to be.
