“Seeker’s Prayer”
Cover me with spools of thread.
Slice off mine enemies.
Let me know who’s inside out:
Whose guts are floating about.
Let me know who IS in your world
So I may whisper him or her the Word.
Cut off mine eyes that I may see
Blind me not with futility
Let me know for whom I seek
And I’ll find in time.
