Angst

Adopted kids are typically bastards—the lowest of the low.
But soon they are typically green with money and envy.
Their first mother is probably prostituting
While they are or were foster fluting,
Played like an instrument
By the decisions others make.
We are taught to be grateful
And rich for the experience we give others,
But we are poor
From the loss
That keeps on losing
Every time we have to explain.

Wow, I hardly know what to say about this one ..... it appears filled with loathing, hatred and bitterness. How very sad and unfair to all adopted children who are loved and wanted.
