Spring is in the air
the sights, the scent and sound.
The tender, brilliant blooms
emerging from the ground.

The song of the morning birds,
the sight of the Daffodil;
the smell of the evening rain
gives my senses quite a thrill.

A silent, gentle breeze
A single drop of dew;
Lets me know that Spring is near;
Another season starts anew.

When the ground again awakens
From its long, winter rest,
And the gardens erupt with color..
That's what I like best.

It is a new beginning
For every living thing.
I say a silent "Thank You"
As the bells on Sunday ring.

I really love the meter in this and good rhyming. If it sings to me then it is good.
