'everything she did was
fallacious . . . '

She missed her creator; he

was no longer in love; died

in the lab when she went

preflight – short circuited.

Now, no longer being able

to function in a normal state

Everything she did was

fallacious – mechanically eroded.

She literally went through the

roof; no misgivings, misguided

Was out of preflight; cheap parts

underminded – timed elevation.

Came crashing down and was

scattered all around, could never

be reassembled; soared for a few

minutes – memory erased.

He took all his blueprints to the

afterlife; would never see her

again, went their separate ways

Heaven – scrap yard.

Great! A very good piece. I love how you brought fourth teh love a robot might have for its creator.

Unusual and interesting, and yes, tinged with sadness...for humans they call it co-dependency, don't they? Yet relying on someone is natural for us...you illustrated that here.

Lance,
Good to see you back but there's pain and frustration here, well written of course and very moving but a lot of hurt. Stay strong, My Friend.

Hi Lance. Warm wishes and prayers too. I like this poem. Reminds me a little of "WAL-E," and "I Robot" and hey why not? "2001 Space odyssey" all wrapped up into one fantastical story. All have their sad elements as does this poem. Still inspired, J'nia
