How some music
on the radio
can remind you of

Certain songs
sizzling over easy
in your ears

As you drive

Down a dark road

I'm glad I finally stopped by, Daniel. Radio Eggs is a perfect
way to start the day. Well done -- the writing not the eggs.

I listen to several different genres and several different eras of music and the music from the 1960s and 1970s has to be my favorite time. Certain songs do have the ability to linger in our ears, whether loved or hated. ("Henry the Eighth" comes to mind for the hated)

Thanks, Daniel. This poem holds a lot of truth and to echo Jeanette's comment, today's music, certainly, does not compare.

Sounds like the next diner will be on your list. Your poem does make me think about all the mental flashes of scenes from my past. I still love the music of the fifties. Today's "stuff" just don't compare to it. Nice thought provoking poem.
